Privacy Policy

It’s pretty simple: when you submit your information to receive emails, we will use it to send you emails with information about or related to parenting and family life. We won’t sell it, share it, or give it away. Family life is included because sibling issues, gifts for mom, grandparent issues, and other topics that aren’t strictly 100% parenting are included.

Like most people, we do need to earn a living, so some emails will promote items on the Wise Fathers store and products we love, but they will still be related to parenting and family life. Other emails may promote sponsored products (ones we are paid to promote) but we won’t promote things we don’t like or that aren’t related to the website.

Finally, we may, at some point, promote an organization or event related to parenting or family life that we feel strongly about. Anything we love that much is probably already going to be the subject of a blog post but the purpose of this page is to disclose every possible reason we can think of that we even might possibly use any personal data we collect, so we’re including the possibility.

If you subscribed to our email list and no longer want to receive emails from Wise Fathers or need to change/update your information, links to unsubscribe or change your information are at the bottom of every email we send. If you want your data deleted entirely or to receive copies of your data, please email admin (at) Your contact information will be kept until you unsubscribe or you ask to have your information deleted.

If we learn of a data breach, we will notify you via email within one business day of finding out .

WordPress stores your gravatar name, IP Address, comment, and email address whenever you leave a comment. As a result, commenting is considered a clear affirmative, specific, and unambiguous action as defined by the GDPR, giving Wise Fathers consent to store this information, and permission to contact you by email in the future. This does not add you to our email list, it simply enables us to contact you and is only visible to administrators at WiseFathers. If you are wondering why someone might want to contact a commenter, sometimes people who regularly leave great comments are asked to be new writers for websites or mention a product or service our readers might want more information about. Without the ability email commenters, this would be really tough to do.
